The Beauty of Nothingness.

This is my current body of paintings using cold wax, oil paints, collage and assemblage. This beauty of nothingness represents the power of the empty mind. This mind has been freed of all mental baggage and all negative thought. This means one can empty the mind of all preconceived concepts and ideas, and open the mind to new ideas, and new potential for creativity. Nothingness is alive with possibilities. There is no thought, no form…only emptiness…the joy of silence. The mind becomes open to attention and focus. You are able to open yourself to new ideas…renewal. You are able to focus on small details and ordinary things in nature. These paintings helped me discover my inner voice and the center of my being.
